SKATE WITH US
Get Featured on RWTG
We believe that the best way to encourage other girl skaters is to record and publish girls skating at all abilities! Whether you’re just cruising around, or shredding a park, it doesn’t matter to us! We want to be able to showcase all skating abilities so feel free to send us through your clips to be featured on the RWTG Instagram page.
Hear about how we started
We get that sometimes it’s hard to pick something up when you know nothing about it, no matter how much you might want to! We’ve created a blog that talks to girls in Leeds about how they started skating, the latest in skate-related news, and interviews with other places in Leeds. Have a browse, stay in the know, or get inspired!
What Drives Us
RWTG exists because some girls would love to start skating but feel intimidated by the skate environment. It’s not about being amazing on a skateboard, it’s about letting other girls/women know there are others in Leeds who support them, or that they’re out there. We’re here to inspire. We know the Leeds skate scene to be incredibly positive and supportive, but starting out is scary – especially for females in what has been a male-dominated sport/culture. RWTG exists not as a clique, but as a platform to inspire other females to give skating a go. We want to showcase all abilities; whether you’re beginning or shredding, we got time for all of you.
Interested in getting involved with RWTG? Maybe you want to collab (rad!) or interview the people behind it (also rad!), just send us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
